With an impressive annual production capacity of 3 million poles and 17 strategically located manufacturing facilities across Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Odisha, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, Gandhar Group is well-equipped to meet the growing demands of infrastructure development in India and beyond. Its diverse product portfolio includes PSC, RCC, and spun poles, along with precast components such as base plates and cube ballast, all designed to deliver durability, performance, and consistency at scale.

Restoring Connectivity When It Matters Most

Leading the Way in Disaster Recovery

Gujarat Earthquake (2001) – Supplied critical PSC poles for rebuilding efforts in Gujarat, demonstrating reliability during major emergencies.

Thane Cyclone (2011) – Fulfilled Tamil Nadu's entire requirement of around 70,000 PSC poles, earning recognition from the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for swift and effective disaster response.

HudHud Cyclone (2014) – Played a crucial role in restoring power infrastructure in Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas by supplying 25,000 PSC poles in partnership with the Andhra Pradesh government.

Gaja Cyclone (2018) – Supplied approximately 2,00,000 poles within 21 days to aid power recovery efforts in Tamil Nadu's coastal districts.

1972 – 2000

The Early Years

Gandhar Group's journey began in 1972 with a clear vision to contribute to India's growing power infrastructure needs. Starting with a single manufacturing unit focused on producing high-quality PSC poles, the company's early years were defined by a relentless commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and serving local communities.

Early 2000s

Pioneering Growth in Rajasthan

As the demand for electrification surged across India, Gandhar Group launched three new plants in Rajasthan in 2009, supporting the state's electrification projects including those near the Indian border, strengthening border energy security.

2011

Geographic Expansion

Gandhar Group expanded beyond Rajasthan by establishing its first manufacturing facility in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh — a strategic move towards geographic diversification and broader market reach.

2012 – 2013

Revolutionary Transformation

Two manufacturing plants launched in Tamil Nadu, setting new industry benchmarks. Since then the Group has supplied the majority of Tamil Nadu's concrete pole requirements and is TNEB's most trusted partner during natural calamities.

2014 – 2017

Unstoppable Growth

Three plants established in Bihar, becoming the largest supplier in the state. In 2016 a facility in Odisha was launched, meeting electrification needs and supplying poles across the entire state during disaster relief.

2018 – 2025

Gandhar Group's Power Surge

Unveiled the world's largest PSC and RCC pole manufacturing plant serving Tamil Nadu and Kerala, increased Tamil Nadu capacity in 2024, and expanded into Bihar in early 2025.

2025 – Present

Expanding Horizons

Took over a new manufacturing plant in Kerala, entered the precast industry in Odisha in early 2026, and established an additional precast facility in Tamil Nadu later in 2026.
